VELO NB

Velo NB is the provincial governing body for the sport of cycling in New Brunswick. We represent the full range of disciplines including Road, Track, Cyclo-cross, Mountain Biking, BMX and Para-cycling.

Our mission is to provide opportunities and support for cyclists, athletes, coaches, and commissaires. We do this through athlete development, competitions, and collaboration with all types of stakeholders focusing on the growth and safety of our sport.

⚠We want to let our members know that our 2025 AGM and Awards, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed.Due to a scheduling issue outside of our control, we’ve made the decision to move the event to next month. 🔴 Velo NB is offering a HopOn Instructor Training Orientation this May in Shediac. An opportunity to get involved in growing cycling at the grassroots level.Being part of the HopOn program is a practical way to build your own cycling knowledge while helping kids get started on bikes. The training focuses on breaking down skills into simple, teachable movements you can pass on to the next generation and even use with the people you ride with every day.🔴 Saturday, May 9 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 🔴The in-person session takes place outdoors (closed parking lot or field), where participants will lead three short lessons (10–15 minutes each), each including skill development and a game. 🔴 Velo NB offre une orientation des instructeurs Embarquez en mai prochain à Shediac. C'est l'occasion idéale de contribuer au développement du cyclisme à la base.Participer au programme Embarquez est une façon concrète d'enrichir vos connaissances cyclistes tout en aidant les enfants à faire leurs premiers pas à vélo. La formation met l'accent sur la décomposition des techniques en mouvements simples et faciles à enseigner, que vous pourrez transmettre à la prochaine génération et même utiliser avec vos compagnons de route.🔴 Samedi 9 mai | 9 h à 17 h 🔴La séance en présentiel se déroule à l'extérieur (stationnement fermé ou terrain). Les participants animeront trois courtes leçons (10 à 15 minutes chacune), comprenant le développement des compétences et un jeu.
