What part of NB are you from and what club do you ride with? I’m from Grand Falls, NB, and I ride for Graystone – Jessome’s.
How did you get started in cycling? I started maybe ten years ago, thanks to my father — he’s the one who got me into it.
What’s been your proudest cycling moment so far? Going to the Canada Games in Niagara in 2022 was definitely my proudest moment so far.
What does it mean to you to represent NB at the Canada Games? It’s an honour, because not a lot of people get this opportunity, and I’m proud to say I’m one of them.
What’s your favourite place to ride in NB? I really like riding near Grand Falls — there’s a lot of different terrain and some great places to train.
What’s one goal you’ve set for yourself at the Games? To complete every race knowing I worked hard, gave it my best, and hopefully contributed to the team effort along the way.
Any pre-race rituals or must-have gear? Nothing too specific for me, but I always make sure to stay well-hydrated before those hot race days — just like Coach K says, haha!
Who’s your biggest supporter or role model in cycling? My biggest supporters are definitely my parents. They’re always there when I need them and really care about my goals and the things I dedicate myself to.
