Diversity, Equality & Inclusion

At Velo NB we are working towards fostering an inclusive environment in recreational and competitive cycling. We value the diversity of our members, athletes, coaches, and officials, who bring unique experiences, abilities, and identities into our community.

Community Building

We understand the importance of our community and we aim to cultivate meaningful partnerships with community organizations in order to uplift those working towards inclusion and access. By forging strong community collaborations, we actively promote grassroots development to start to establish lasting connections with underrepresented groups within cycling.

Building Change Through Policy

At Velo NB, our aim is to establish and uphold Cycling Canada’s Equity, Access, and Eliminating Discrimination Policy.  We are committed to creating our own policies to align with DEIB principles, fostering an inclusive culture within our organization.
