How did you get started in cycling? I got into cycling through a friend who was racing with the Fitworks team.
What’s been your proudest cycling moment so far? Placing in the top 10 as a first-year U17 at the Dieppe Canada Cup.
What does it mean to you to represent NB at the Canada Games? It means a lot. It’s been one of my goals, and getting the chance to go shows that the five years I’ve put into training have paid off.
What’s your favourite place to ride in NB? Probably Rockwood Park in Saint John—I love the mix of tech and flow there.
What’s one goal you’ve set for yourself at the Games? To have my best race of the season—and trade some good pins too.
Any pre-race rituals or must-have gear? My race-day socks are a must, and I always make sure to get in a solid warm-up.
Who’s your biggest supporter or role model in cycling? My coach, Rheal Jaillet—he’s played a huge role in my development as a racer.
