What part of NB are you from and what club do you ride with? I am from Fredericton, NB and I ride with Radical Edge.
How did you get started in cycling? I started cycling as training for Speed Skating and I really enjoyed it so I decided to race.
What’s been your proudest cycling moment so far? My proudest cycling moment is being selected for this Canada Games team. I am still fairly new to cycling and I am proud to be presented with this opportunity.
What does it mean to you to represent NB at the Canada Games? It means a lot to represent team NB. We are a small province but we have a lot of talent and passion and I am proud to be one of the athletes attending Canada Games.
What’s your favourite place to ride in NB? My favourite place to ride in NB is at my cottage in Grande-Digue because you get to ride alongside the ocean.
What’s one goal you’ve set for yourself at the Games? My goal for Canada games is to learn as much as I can. We will be competing with the best in Canada and there will be so many people to learn from.
Any pre-race rituals or must-have gear? My pre-race ritual is my schedule leading up to the race (eating times, warmup times) when I follow that schedule correctly I always know that I can perform well.
Who’s your biggest supporter or role model in cycling? My biggest supporters are my family. They have always believed in my dreams and supported me every step of the way. I couldn’t do it without them.
