The Cycling Events in New Brunswick could not happen without all the dedication and hard work of the event organizers and everyone that is part of the competitive and non-competitive scene in New Brunswick.
As a governing body, one of Velo NB’s key roles is to support and regulate cycling events by establishing a framework for which events and competitions take place, ensuring that they are safe, fair, and adhere to established rules and regulations set by Velo NB, Cycling Canada, or the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationally).
By sanctioning an event with Velo NB, organizers ensure that the event meets minimum safety standards and provides a high-quality experience for participants.
The original road and mountain bike organizers’ guides remain excellent resources for you to use when preparing to hold a Velo NB sanctioned event. There are however some yearly changes, updates or additional information you may need to use, which are covered in the General Guidelines link. If you have any questions or problems regarding your event please get in touch with either the road or mountain bike chair or the Executive Director.
